Summer Nations Series Week 2: All you need to know

Marchant Summer

The Summer Nations Series continues with a pair of tantalising rematches as Wales head to Twickenham to take on England before France play host to Scotland in Saint-Etienne.

Who is playing?

The action kicks off at Twickenham where England will look to avenge last week’s loss in Cardiff when they take on Wales in a 5.30pm kick-off.

Wales ran out 20-9 winners last time out, with tries from Gareth Davies and George North in the second half as they came from behind.

Their comeback was not quite as impressive as Scotland’s when they welcomed France to Scottish Gas Murrayfield, overcoming an 18-point half-time deficit in a 25-21 victory.

The Scots will now travel to Saint-Etienne for an 8.05pm kick-off against Les Bleus, who will be keen to get a first win of the Summer Nations Series under their belts.

What’s the key team news?

England have rung the changes with 11 new faces in all including the returns of the likes of Owen Farrell, as captain, and Courtney Lawes.

Warren Gatland has also decided to test out some new combinations, with Josh Adams winning his 50th cap after being named on the wing.

In the second game of the day, France have turned to their big guns with a first outing for Antoine Dupont, Grégory Alldritt and a host of others.

Scotland were close to full strength a week ago and despite six changes, look very strong again this time around, including a return for skipper Jamie Ritchie.

Where can I watch/listen?

Viewers in the UK can see both games on Amazon Prime.
