Referee appointments for Autumn Nations Series Week 3

Mathieu Raynal is in the hot seat for New Zealand’s first visit to Twickenham in four years as the Autumn Nations Series continues this weekend.

England triumphed in memorable fashion the last time they faced the All Blacks, running out 19-7 winners in the 2019 Rugby World Cup semi-final, so their latest opponents will be desperate to exact their revenge over Eddie Jones and co

Frenchman Rayal is in charge after Nic Berry withdrew and returned to Australia due to personal reasons.

Raynal will be joined by Damon Murphy and Georgia’s Nika Amashukeli, while TMO duties will be fulfilled by Brian MacNeice.

This weekend’s offering begins in Genoa where an Italy side fresh from securing a first-ever win over Australia host fellow southern hemisphere giants South Africa.

Matthew Carley takes charge, with Wayne Barnes and Sam Grove-White his deputies while Eric Gauzins assumes responsibility as TMO.

Wales will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when Georgia visit Principality Stadium in what will be the pair’s fourth ever meeting, with the hosts having claimed each of the previous three.

Andrea Piardi will run the rule over that one, with Pierre Brousset and Gianluca Gnecchi the touch judges and Brendon Pickerill taking the reins as TMO.

It’s an all-British trio on the ground at BT Murrayfield for Argentina’s trip to Scotland, with Karl Dickson in the thick of things and Luke Pearce and Ian Tempest running the line – Brett Cronan is the TMO.

Saturday’s action concludes in Dublin where Ben O’Keeffe will take charge of Australia’s visit to Ireland with the Wallabies looking for a first win on Irish soil since 2013.

New Zealand’s O’Keeffe will be assisted by James Doleman and Tual Trainini, while Stuart Terheege will be on hand to assist with any contentious calls.

The round’s final fixture comes on Sunday, in France, when Japan will descend upon Toulouse hoping to cause an upset.

Les Bleus triumphed 2-0 when the pair met in the summer and their latest encounter will be adjudicated by Andrew Brace with Frank Murphy, Christophe Ridley and Tom Foley completing the line-up in the south of France.
