The 21-year-old flyer pulled on the Scotland jersey for the first time during his country’s 60-14 victory over Tonga at BT Murrayfield and enjoyed a dream debut as he crossed the whitewash for a first-half try double. His second score was a thing of beauty and saw him go viral on social media, as a lineout move provided the platform before crisp passing from the backs ended with Blair Kinghorn finding McLean, who side-stepped James Faiva brilliantly to race over the line. Sevu Reece finishing off a brilliant New Zealand team try during their 54-16 triumph over Wales in Cardiff came second with 14% of the vote, while Will Jordan’s chip-and-chase score earned 5%. Those two All Blacks scores were split by another Scotland try against Tonga – Kyle Steyn completing his hat-trick by dotting down Blair Kinghorn’s cross-kick.
