Giorgi Kveseladze voted Player of the Round for Round 3!

The votes have been counted and by a landslide, Georgia centre Giorgi Kveseladze has been selected by you, the fans, as the Player of the Round for Round 3 of the inaugural Autumn Nations Cup.

Kveseladze saw off stiff competition from England’s Sam Underhill, Wales centre Johnny Williams and France star Brice Dulin to earn the crown and he follows in the footsteps of Round 1 winner Duhan van der Merwe and Round 2 victor Jonny May.

The Georgian received a remarkable 88.7% of the public vote, with back-rower Underhill trailing in second place with 6.5% ahead of Dulin (2.5%) and Williams (2.4%).

Georgia may not have notched a surprise win in Dublin but Kveseladze did grab their first points of the Autumn Nations Cup in some style, with a brilliant solo score that will also take some beating in the Try of the Round race.

The centre picked up the ball on halfway, threw a couple of dummies and brushed off a series of would-be tacklers as he weaved his way through scrambling Irish defenders all the way to the line.

That helped him to a team-high 59 metres with ball in hand, while he also made an incredible 17 tackles, including a bone-crunching hit on CJ Stander which sent the Ireland No.8 reeling backwards, to demonstrate his defensive prowess.
